NORTHWEST WISCONSIN LAKES
A quick look at any Wisconsin map will show a lot of blue in the northwest corner of the state. This area has lakes, rivers and streams of all varieties. Here we’ve created links to informative pages where you can learn about lakes that interest you. DNR provides a page for each lake showing the size, location, fishing information, boat landings and water clarity. This is an excellent place to begin your search if you’re looking for a Lake Place.
Get the right lake
Because there are many lakes by the same name — there are 73 Bass Lakes in Wisconsin! — we added the county and/or nearby town to the link. We don’t want you to buy property on the wrong lake!
If you have specific questions about any lake, ask one of our agents. You can also contact the water quality specialist or fish manager at DNR offices in the area. They will be able to provide details about water quality, stocking, lake health and zoning.
Lake Associations can help
Another great source of information is lake associations and districts. These groups are typically made up of lake shore property owners. Their websites have tons of information about specific lakes in Northwest Wisconsin. Contacting the association for the lake of your choice will allow you to ask questions of current lake property owners.
Our goal is to make your search for property as convenient and pleasant as possible. Of course all of our agents have lived in this area for a long time, so they’ll have plenty of information to share.
