The Spooner Chamber of Commerce is a great place to start. Their website has a wealth of information about Spooner, its business community and events. Stop in at their office near the Hwy 63/70 intersection next to McDonalds. The Tourist Information Center is also home to Washburn County Tourism and the Spooner Rodeo. Many friendly faces and more brochures than you can carry!
Spooner sits in just about the center Washburn County; the county seat is Shell Lake. But Northwest Land and Rec agents can always be found in neighboring counties, Burnett, Sawyer, Polk, Barron, Douglas and Ashland.
